On Saturday 3rd December we attended a Charity Ball organised by our good friend Holly Redman in aid of Tommy's. Tommy's is an incredible charity that are committed to saving babies' lives. Through donations, they fund pioneering research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth as well as supporting families through every part of the pregnancy journey.
We have had the heartbreak of miscarriages close to home with two of our oldest and very dear friends, as well as Holly's own journey so it was always going to be a very emotional and worthy cause that is close to our hearts.
The charity ball was held at The Green Wembdon with everyone looking awesome, great food, a few drinks and dancing to the sounds of Snappa.
With Holly working for Lloyds Bank it meant the event could take advantage of their brilliant match funding scheme. Coupled with donations from Barclays Bank charity scheme too, the last we heard was that the total amount raised is around £8000 which is just incredible!
Well done to all involved with a BIG mention to Holly Redman for organising the Charity Ball and to Manthy Dennett who spoke about her and her husband's journey which took huge courage. We love you both!
An amazing amount of money raised for a brilliant Charity who genuinely do incredible work!
