Sedgemoor FM Business Networking at Enmore Park Golf Club: A Day of Connections, Insights, and Exciting Opportunities
The latest Sedgemoor FM Business Networking event, held at the stunning Enmore Park Golf Club near Bridgwater, Somerset, was a fantastic success. A wide range of local businesses, from various industries and sizes, gathered for a morning of networking, insightful discussions, and, of course, plenty of coffee, tea, and delicious pastries to fuel the day.
"It was amazing to have such a diverse mix of businesses in the room, from various niches big and small. It was also great to hear from Paul at Gravity, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the project and updating us on the supply chain."
Neil Fellows - Marketing Director, Sedgemoor FM
The Keynote Speaker: Paul Lowndes from Gravity
The highlight of the event was an engaging talk from Paul Lowndes of Gravity, a cutting-edge sustainable development project in Somerset. Paul gave an insightful update on the progress of Gravity as a whole, discussing the project's sustainability goals and how they are managing their carbon footprint. He also touched on the supply chain aspect of the project, offering valuable insights into how businesses can get involved. The floor was opened for questions, allowing the diverse mix of businesses in attendance to engage with Paul and explore potential opportunities related to Gravity’s ongoing developments.
A Diverse Mix of Businesses
As mentioned, the room was filled with a diverse array of businesses, both large and small, representing various niches. This created an enriching atmosphere of shared ideas and potential collaborations. It was fantastic to see local entrepreneurs and established businesses coming together to exchange knowledge, discuss their services, and explore future partnerships.
From an IMPACT 20twenty perspective, it was a highly productive morning! Our very own Justin was in attendance, capturing the event through photography, while also seizing the opportunity to reconnect with several key business figures. We had an exciting catch-up with Dawn Hurd of Hurd & Co to discuss the future direction of her incredible brand—big things are coming for Dawn, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead! The networking event also brought in a new website development enquiry, and we had a fantastic conversation with Roger from the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce about an upcoming project that requires our services. Roger also encouraged us to get involved in the Sedgemoor Business Awards, a potential opportunity we’re eager to explore!
